Jessie Long was originally Lady Louisa's companion coming here at the age of 14 years old. Jessie sat every day doing her sewing at her window in this room and no one passing the Tower by the shore could escape her eagle eye. Jessie must have been formidable but the room is quite enchanting and rather feminine with a photo of Jessie herself. Tucked away in her drawers, are interesting newspaper cuttings.
