Join our High Summer Glorious August Party. You will be welcomed in
traditional style by piper, Johnnie's sloe gin or a wee dram. You will
be encouraged to walk along the glorious six miles of sandy beach around
the Bay. At this time of year you may well see the tail or fin of a
passing sea trout waiting for the Autumn rains to run up the River Wester
and return to its native spawning grounds.
The
seals on the other hand will not at all be pleased to see a passing
pod of killer whales that have been frequenting the Bay in spectacular
fashion.

There will always be rides on the RIB around the Isle of Stroma, golf
on the links, out with Johnnie looking for lobsters, clays with Hamish
and with Jimmy fly-fishing on Loch Killimster.
We will have a Lord Lambton lunch in the Bothie or perhaps in the Summer
Palace.
There will be sumptuous afternoon teas with scones still warm from the
kitchen and Joannies famous lemon cake.
We will visit the Highland Games at Mey and join in the Tug of War -
ladies team included.
We
will have a grand dinner in the Great Hall. The silver gleaming in the
candlelight and the roaring log fires. And then we will have a ceilidh with the Highland lassies. There are
always surprises galore, pipes and drums, drams and sloe gin.
